If you or some of your household members qualify for MassHealth coverage, what happens?

After you or some of your household members have been approved for MassHealth coverage, they will receive a letter from MassHealth in 3–5 business days with information about their coverage and health plan options.

Do I know if my employer’s plan is affordable and meets Minimum Value requirements?

Consult your human resources department or your employer’s health plan to find out if your plan meets these standards.

Does my small business qualify for Health Connector for Business?

Businesses in Massachusetts with 1 to 50 eligible employees can shop for and purchase coverage through Health Connector for Business if they meet the requirements. In order to submit an application, an employer group must provide us with documentation confirming its eligibility.

What is the deadline for applying for coverage?

An open enrollment period is the time of year when people can enroll in or change their health insurance plan at any time. The 2022 Open Enrollment period (OE) begins on November 1, 2021, and ends on January 23, 2022.
